cm와 in 전환에는 1 in = 2.54 cm를 사용합니다.
What does +3 cm actually mean?
Garment Compare calculates “shopping measurement minus reference measurement.” The sign tells you which measurement is larger or smaller.
A fictional worked example
| Measure | Reference | Shopping | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chest flat width | 52 cm | 55 cm | +3 cm |
| Length | 68 cm | 66 cm | −2 cm |
| Shoulder width | 46 cm | 48 cm | +2 cm |
| Sleeve length | 22 cm | 23 cm | +1 cm |
The shopping garment’s listed chest width is 3 cm wider and its length is 2 cm shorter. Shoulder and sleeve differences use the same subtraction. Zero means the entered numbers match. It does not mean the garments have the same shape or feel when worn.
Flat width stays flat width
Do not interpret a +3 cm chest-width difference as a body chest-circumference difference. The tool never automatically doubles flat width or compares it against body dimensions. If a seller lists only circumference, confirm a comparable flat measurement rather than mixing different definitions.
What the overlapping rectangles show
The blue solid rectangle represents your reference; the red dashed rectangle represents the shopping garment. They share a top edge. Chest flat width sets their width and garment length sets their height, using the same scale for both. Screen centimeters are not physical centimeters. Necklines, sleeves, waist shaping and hem shape are not shown. The numeric table is the diagram’s text alternative.
Units and blank fields
The unit switch uses exactly 1 inch = 2.54 centimeters. Comparisons use centimeters internally, while displayed results round to two decimal places. Very small differences can display as zero. If either shoulder or sleeve value is absent, that measurement is skipped. A blank is never treated as zero.
Comparing several options
Keep one reference and switch between up to three shopping options. Switching changes the shopping measurements only. The image, text and share link include the currently selected option only. The tool does not assign size labels or rank which option you should buy.
